Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions set out the basis on which Redwoods Planning Ltd provides professional planning, architectural, and associated consultancy services.
By instructing Redwoods Planning Ltd, accepting an estimate, or proceeding with any services, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
1. The balance of any agreed fee must be paid in full prior to the submission of architectural drawings to the local planning authority.
2. The balance of any agreed fee must be paid in full prior to the release of HMO layouts or Building Regulation drawings to the client.
3. All services relating to planning enforcement matters and appeals are payable in full in advance.
4. Payment becomes due upon written notification by email that the agreed work has been completed.
5. Redwoods Planning Ltd will only carry out the works expressly set out within the agreed estimate. Any services requested beyond the agreed scope will be subject to additional charges.
6. Where a site survey is aborted or cancelled after attendance, a charge of £250 will apply.
7. Following the issue of initial proposed drawings, reasonable amendments requested by the client up to a total of four hours are included within the agreed fee. Any additional amendments will be charged at a rate of £195 per hour.
8. Drawings are issued to clients in PDF format. Digital DWG files may be provided upon request for a fee of £250. All drawings and digital files remain the intellectual property of Redwoods Planning Ltd.
9. Any discrepancies or errors in dimensions must be reported to the Architect prior to commencement of works. Dimensions and areas are based on survey information and must be verified on site prior to construction.
10. Architectural drawings are prepared solely for the purpose of obtaining planning permission unless otherwise expressly agreed in writing.
11. Redwoods Planning Ltd does not operate on a no-win, no-fee basis unless explicitly stated in writing within the estimate or invoice.
12. Redwoods Planning Ltd does not guarantee the granting of planning permission or any other statutory approval. Fees are payable in respect of professional services provided, including drawings and submissions, irrespective of outcome.
13. All estimates are valid for a period of 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise.
14. All disbursements, including but not limited to planning fees, consultant reports, and search fees, are payable directly by the client unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.
